A shocking case has emerged in Thane, where is accused of bigamy, harassment, and unnatural sex by his wife, a 45-year-old govern Sanyam Mukanement officer. The victim alleged that her father-in-law, Narayan Mukane, also harassed and threatened her.

The couple met on a matrimonial site and got married in August 2023, with the marriage registered at the sub-registrar’s office. However, things took a dark turn when Sanyam left his wife’s residence, citing his mother’s illness, and stopped communicating with her after his mother’s passing in May 2024.

The complainant discovered Sanyam’s alleged bigamy when she visited his parents’ house in June 2024 and met another woman claiming to be his wife. The victim alleged that Sanyam and his father tortured her, demanded money, and forced her to transfer her property to their names.
