Sinhagad Road Police Arrest Two Wanted Accused, Including One Absconding in MCOCA Case

Pune: In a successful operation, Sinhagad Road Police have arrested two wanted accused, Ravi Madhukar Jadhav (26) and his associate Ashwin alias Barkya Balakrishna Lonare (20). Ravi was absconding in an attempt-to-murder case and was also booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

Ravi, a resident of Sanjivani Heritage, Jadhav Nagar, Vadgaon, was on the run for two months. Police Inspector Santosh Bhandwalkar received a tip-off that Ravi was hiding near Chaturmukh Mahadev Temple in Patharwadi, Shindewadi.

A team led by Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Nikam and Police Inspector Santosh Bhandwalkar apprehended Ravi and Ashwin, who was also wanted in two attempt-to-murder cases at Sinhagad Road and Warje Malwadi Police Stations.

The arrest was made possible under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police Praveen Kumar Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sambhaji Kadam, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ajay Parmar, Senior Police Inspector Raghvendrasinh Kshirsagar, and Crime Inspector Uttam Bhajanawale.

The team included Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Nikam, Santosh Bhandwalkar, Police Sub-Inspectors Aba Uttekar, Sanjay Shinde, Uttam Taru, Pankaj Deshmukh, Amol Patil, Deva Chavan, Sagar Shedge, Shivaji Kshirsagar, Rahul Okekar, Swapnil Magar, Vinayak Mohite, Vikas Pandule, and Vikas Bandal.
