A shocking incident of violence has been reported in Pune’s Bibwewadi area, where two youths were attacked with sharp weapons, leaving one of them with a severed finger.

The victims, Gaurav Rajesh Markad (24) and his friend Piush Pachakudwe (22), were allegedly attacked by Sagar Mithilesh Saroj (21) and a minor accomplice.

According to the police, the attack was a result of a long-standing feud between Gaurav and Sagar. The two had a heated argument earlier, and Sagar had called Gaurav and Piush to a spot in Upper Indiranagar, where the attack took place.

Sagar and his accomplice allegedly attacked Piush with a sharp weapon, severing his finger. When Gaurav tried to intervene, he was also attacked and suffered injuries to his head and shoulder.

Both victims are undergoing treatment at a hospital and are reported to be in a stable condition.

The police have arrested Sagar and are investigating the case further.
