Pune Police Investigate ₹1.19 Crore Investment Scam
A private insurance company manager in Pune was duped of ₹1.19 crore by three individuals who promised high returns on investment. Shivaji Gajanan Shinde, Madhura Rohan Nandurgi, and Ravindra Naydu have been booked by the Bannrer police station.
The accused, Shinde, ran an educational company called Cripsika Academic Services in Bannrer. He convinced the insurance manager to invest in his company, promising attractive returns. The manager invested his own money and funds collected from relatives.
Shinde initially paid some returns but later stopped. He threatened the manager, claiming connections with politicians and police officers. The investigation is led by Senior Inspector Mahesh Bolkotagi of Baner Police station.
