The Pune police have taken decisive action against Tipu Sattar Pathan, a notorious criminal with a history of serious offenses, including murder, attempted murder, land grabbing, extortion, and assault. Pathan was taken into custody on April 2, 2025, under various sections of the Indian Justice Code, 2023.

Tipu Sattar Pathan has been involved in numerous criminal activities over the past four years, prompting the police to take preventive action to maintain law and order. His brother, Ajaz Pathan, has also been implicated in a recent case.

On April 2, 2025, a woman named Rupali Kisan Pardesi from Hadapsar, Pune, filed a complaint against Tipu Pathan, his brother Ajaz, and 7-8 unknown individuals. They allegedly attempted to grab her 1290 square foot plot in Survey No. 76/6, demanding ₹20 lakhs and trying to take possession of the land by force.
The police have registered a case under Crime No. 100/2025 at Kalepadal Police Station, invoking sections 308(2), 329(3), 351(2), 352, 189(1), 189(2), and 191(2) of the Indian Justice Code, 2023. Ajaz Sattar Pathan has been arrested in connection with the case.

Senior Police Inspector Mansingh Patil of Kalepadal Police Station has confirmed the arrest and assured that further investigation is underway to bring the perpetrators to justice. The police have taken Tipu Pathan into custody for 14 days under Section 129 of the Indian Citizens’ Security Code, 2023, as a preventive measure to prevent any potential law and order issues.
