Pune Police Arrest Two for Stealing Ammunition
In a shocking incident, two workers at a licensed gun shop in Pune’s Bohri Ali were arrested for stealing 32 bullets and 20 pistol cartridges. The accused, Aditya Chandan Makenor (22) and Sumit Raju Kamble (28), were caught by the police while trying to sell the stolen ammunition.
According to the police, the owner of the gun shop, Firoz Bandukwala, had filed a complaint after discovering the theft. The police investigation led to the arrest of the two workers, who confessed to stealing the ammunition to make quick money.
The police have recovered the stolen ammunition and are conducting further investigations. This incident highlights the need for stricter security measures at gun shops and the importance of prompt action by the authorities in such cases.
