Pune Crime Branch Unit 2 arrested notorious criminal Nilesh Dnyaneshwar Bharam, 35, from Vaishnavi Prestige, Ambegaon Budruk, Haveli, seizing two illegal pistols and six live cartridges. Bharam has a history of 16 serious crimes.

The police laid a trap after receiving a tip-off about Bharam’s presence near Daripool. During the arrest, they confiscated two illegal pistols worth ₹86,000 and six live cartridges.

Bharam’s criminal record includes attempted murder, extortion, firearms offenses and other serious crimes in various Pune areas.

This operation was carried out by Police Inspector Pratap Mankar, Assistant Inspector Ashish Kavthekar, police constable Shankar Kumbhar, Ujjwal Mokashi and other officers.
