A heart-stopping car crash on May 19, 2024, in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar, sent shockwaves across Maharashtra. The accused, a minor son of builder Vishal Agarwal, was allegedly drunk behind the wheel of his Porsche when he mowed down two IT professionals, Anis Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, from Madhya Pradesh.

The tragic events unfolded at Cosie Restaurant and Bar in Koregaon Park, where the minor and his friends were illicitly served liquor despite being underage. The group then proceeded to a pub called ‘Black’, before the minor took the wheel of his Porsche and sped away, leaving a trail of death and destruction.

The impact was so brutal that Ashwini Koshta was hurled 10-15 feet into the air, landing on her head and succumbing to her injuries on the spot. Anis Awadhiya also suffered severe injuries and died instantly.

As news of the accident spread like wildfire, Vishal Agarwal reached out to a local politician, who arrived at the Yerwada Police Station with Ashpak Makan. After leaving the police station, the group converged at Irani Cafe, where the politician hatched a plan to manipulate the situation. Vishal and Shivani Agarwal, Ashpak Makandar, Rajiv Gupta, were present at Irani cafe.

The plan involved swapping the blood samples of the three minors in the Porsche with those of other individuals. The politician contacted Dr. Ajay Taware, a forensic science department head asking him to cooperate in making the blood test results negative for the minors. Initially Taware did not answer his calls , therefore he sent a text messages on his mobile. Later he again communicated with him regarding the blood samples.

The group then approached Dr. Shrihari Harnol at Sassoon Hospital to facilitate the blood sample swap. But how did they manage to strong-arm Dr. Harnol into cooperating?
