Notorious Burglar Arrested: Pune Rural Police Crack Down on Serial Offender

In a significant breakthrough, the Pune Rural Police have apprehended a notorious burglar, Lakhn Ashok Kulkarni alias Sachin Raju Mane (31), a resident of Mangalvedha, Solapur. Mane, who was recently released on bail, had committed four burglaries in the Bhore area.

Acting on a tip-off, the police laid a trap and arrested Mane, recovering stolen goods worth ₹16.58 lakhs. Investigations revealed that Mane had committed over 50 burglaries across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka.

Mane’s modus operandi involved scouting targets in advance, using CCTV footage to plan his burglaries. His arrest is a significant achievement for the Pune Rural Police, who had been tracking him for months.

The police team, led by Superintendent of Police Pankaj Deshmukh, Additional SP Ganesh Biradar, and others, worked tirelessly to crack the case. Mane’s arrest sends a strong message to criminals that the police will not tolerate such activities.
