Pune, November 6, 2024: In a heart-stopping rescue operation, firefighters from the Warje Fire Station saved a 4-year-old child trapped in the balcony of a second-floor apartment at Anant Apartment in Warje.

At around 4 pm, the fire department received a distress call about the child being locked in the balcony. Firefighters immediately rushed to the scene and found the child stuck due to a suddenly locked door.

Without wasting any time, the team communicated with the child’s parents, reassuring them and carefully placing a ladder to access the balcony. Using bolt cutters, they removed the grill and safely retrieved the child, reuniting them with their relieved parents.

The residents of the building and the child’s family expressed gratitude to the firefighters for their swift and efficient rescue.
