Mumbai, Maharashtra: In a significant breakthrough, the Rajnandgaon Police’s Cyber Cell has apprehended a key member of an international cyber fraud gang from Mumbai.

Rohit Mahesh Kumar virvani , a 32-year-old resident of Pune, was arrested for his alleged involvement in duping numerous individuals through fraudulent transactions exceeding Rs 5 crore across over 60 bank accounts.

According to the police, Veerwani, who currently resides in Mumbai’s Andheri area, was part of a sophisticated international cybercrime network.

The arrest marks a crucial milestone in the ongoing efforts to combat cybercrime and bring perpetrators to justice.

Further investigation is underway to uncover the extent of Veerwani’s involvement and to identify potential accomplices.
