Dramatic Rescue in Pune: Firefighters Save Man Stuck on 4th-Floor Balcony

In a heart-stopping rescue operation, firefighters in Pune saved a 31-year-old man who was stuck on the balcony of a 4th-floor apartment in Kumar Pragati Society, Kondhwa Khurd.

The drama unfolded on December 3, 2024, when the fire control room received a distress call at 7:09 am. The firefighters from Kondhwa Khurd sprang into action, racing to the scene in record time.

Upon arrival, the team found the man perched precariously on the balcony, with no clear way down. Undaunted, the firefighters quickly set up a ladder and safety harness, carefully securing the man before bringing him safely to the ground.

The entire operation took just 20 minutes, with the man being rescued without a scratch. The firefighters’ bravery and quick thinking have been hailed as heroic, and their actions have earned widespread praise.

The rescue team consisted of Fire Officer Kailas Shinde, driver Satyam Chaukhande, and firefighters Mahadev Tandel, Sagar Dalvi, Nitesh Vankhade, Kunal Khade, and Manoj Bharti.
