Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Police Arrest Man for Threatening Traffic Officer
In a swift response to a viral video, the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar police have arrested a man for threatening a traffic officer on duty. The accused, Kunal Bakalivala, was taken into custody within 24 hours of the incident.
According to reports, Bakalivala had stopped his Defender vehicle in the middle of the road at Mil Corner and threatened the traffic officer, DainSingh Jadhav, and Assistant Constable Bagul. The accused allegedly said, “Don’t you recognize me? Do you know how to do your duty?” and threatened to suspend the officer within two hours.
The police have registered a case against Bakalivala and seized his vehicle. The arrest was made possible due to the prompt action taken by the Kranti Chowk police station.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Nitin Bagade warned that strict action will be taken against those who intimidate or threaten police officers on duty.
