A shocking incident occurred on Singhad Road’s Kolhewadi area, where a 38-year-old estate agent, Satish Sudam Thopate, was brutally murdered by a group of five men over a financial dispute. The incident took place on Wednesday evening around 4 pm.

According to the police, Satish was attacked by the group, led by Bhausaheb Kivale, with sharp weapons. The attackers fled the scene, leaving Satish severely injured. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The police have registered a case against Bhausaheb Kivale and his four accomplices under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Inspector Sachin Wange is investigating the case.

The dispute allegedly arose over a loan of ₹25 lakhs taken by Bhausaheb Kivale from Satish. Kivale had failed to repay the loan, leading to frequent arguments between the two. The police are investigating the matter further.
