Anti-Narcotics Cell Cracks Down on Drug Trade, Arrests Two
Pune’s Anti-Narcotics Cell has dealt a significant blow to the illicit drug trade, seizing 77 grams of Methamphetamine (MD) worth ₹15,70,000 and apprehending two individuals, Husain Khan (21) and Faizandrof Faizan Shaikh (22), residents of Kondondhwa ¹.
Acting on a tip-off, the Anti-Narcotics Cell swiftly conducted a raid, recovering the MD stock from Husain Khan’s shop at MG Road. Khan, a key maker, and Shaikh will be produced in court, with further investigation ongoing, according to Senior Police Inspector Ulinda Ulhas Kadam.
The successful operation was guided by Deputy Commissioner of Police Nikhil Nikhilesh Nikhil Pingle and executed by a team led by Senior Police Inspector Ulhas Kadam. The team comprised:- Assistant Police Inspector Aniket Pote, Police Constables Vishal Dalvi, Sandesh Kakakade Kakade, Vinayak Salve, Dattaram Jadhav, Rehana Shaikh, Yogesh Mohite, and Vipul Gaikwad.
