Former Indian Cricketer Vinod Kambli Hospitalized in Thane
Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has been hospitalized in Thane due to a sudden deterioration in his health. His condition is currently stable, and he is undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. All necessary medical tests have been conducted.
Kambli was admitted to the hospital on Saturday night after his health took a turn for the worse. In a recent interview with Vikram Lalwani’s YouTube channel, Kambli had opened up about his health issues, revealing that he had been experiencing problems with urination and had even fallen once due to dizziness. His son had helped him recover, and his wife and daughter had rushed to his aid.
Kambli had also mentioned that Sachin Tendulkar had borne the cost of his surgery. Recently, Kambli had attended the unveiling of a memorial for his late coach, Ramakant Achrekar, where his frail health was evident. Despite his condition, Kambli had sung Achrekar’s favorite song, moving many to tears.
Considering Kambli’s health condition, his former teammates from the 1983 World Cup-winning team have offered to help him, on the condition that he checks into a rehabilitation center. Former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has expressed his willingness to support Kambli, whom he considers like a son, and has offered to provide necessary assistance for his rehabilitation.
