Gautami Patil, known for her captivating dance performances, surprised everyone by attending the Pune Book Festival. When asked about her presence, she revealed that she’s there to read. “I’m usually invited to dance, but I’m here to read,” she said.

Gautami shared that she’s interested in reading a book about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This sparked a conversation among the attendees. Meanwhile, Pravin Tarde and his wife gifted Gautami some books.

Pravin Tarde announced that he would gift Gautami a copy of Annabhau Sathe’s novel “Fakira”. Gautami expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’ll definitely try to read more books in my free time. Pravin Tarde has offered to recommend some books for me. I’m looking forward to reading them.”

Gautami, who has been dancing since childhood, admitted that she never had the chance to read much. However, she’s now eager to explore the world of reading. “I recommend everyone to read books. I’ll read the books suggested by Pravin Tarde, including one about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj,” she said.
