Pune, November 29, 2024: The Arya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal has announced the lineup of artists for the 70th Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav, a five-day festival celebrating Indian classical music. The event will take place from December 18 to 22 at the Maharashtra Mandal Krida Sankul, Mukund Nagar, Pune.

The festival promises an enriching experience of musical heritage, featuring a blend of emerging, promising, and renowned artists. The lineup includes Dr. S. Ballesh, Shashwati Chavan-Zurunge, Ram Deshpande, Dr. L. Subramaniam, and Pt. Ajay Chakrabarty, among others.

Over the five days, the festival will showcase a diverse range of performances, including vocal and instrumental recitals, duets, and ensemble performances. The event will also feature a tribute to the Swaryogini Padma Vibhushan Dr. Prabha Atre through a group performance by her disciples.
