A horrific accident occurred on Saturday night in Bhosari, Pune, when a 17-year-old boy, under the influence of alcohol, lost control of his friend’s Scorpio car and crashed into a rickshaw and two motorcycles. The rickshaw driver, Amol Kamble (27), was killed on the spot, while the two motorcycle riders suffered serious injuries.

The teenager, who is a first-year engineering student at a military technology institute in Dighi, was driving without a license. His father is a jawan in the Indian Army, currently posted on the Assam border. The accused was produced before the Juvenile Justice Court, which sent him to a juvenile reform home. Inspector Pankaj Mahajan is investigating the case.
