School Peon Arrested for Secretly Recording Students in Changing Room

A shocking incident has come to light at a school in Pune, where a peon, Sarode, was arrested for secretly recording students in the changing room. The incident occurred on January 6, when students were changing after a sports class.

According to reports, Sarode had placed his mobile phone on a switchboard in the changing room, with the camera recording the students. However, the students noticed the phone and immediately deleted the video.

The students informed their parents, who then met with the school principal. When questioned, Sarode initially denied the allegations but later confessed to recording the students.

The school management filed a complaint with the police, who arrested Sarode under the POCSO Act and Section 77 of the Bombay Nursing Home Registration Act. The chatushrungi police have registered a case against Sarode and are investigating the matter further.
